Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY)

TCTSY is a program of the Trauma Center at the Justice Resource Institute and is an empirically validated, adjunctive clinical treatment for complex trauma or chronic, treatment-resistant PTSD.  This yoga program has foundations in Trauma Theory, Attachment Theory, and Neuroscience as well as Hatha Yoga practice with an emphasis on body-based yoga forms.  For information, resources, current research, and a full list of TCTSY Certified Facilitators from around the world, please visit

Specialty Workshops

While my general classes tend to be as trauma informed as possible, I specifically offer private and semi-private classes to individuals and small groups in support of those needing more sensitive and aware yoga classes.  Also, I'm now offering three different workshops for yoga teachers, therapists, direct care staff or anyone simply wanting more information about trauma and yoga. Each is two-four hours long and intended for private groups, yoga teacher trainings, inservices at agencies, symposiums and conferences.
